This has come as a big shock as I thought Steve was doing so well in his life.

You could not meet a nicer man and a true Greenjacket,Goodnight Steve.

The ranks are getting smaller but their gaps are still fresh in our minds.

A very sad loss, for his family, friends and all of us who are able to say we had the pleasure of counting him as a friend. I had daily contact with Steve when he was Chief Clerk at RGJ HQ at Peninsula Bks and he was always helpful courteous and a mine of information. The team of Col Ian McCausland and Steve Kinrade (both now sadly gone) kept their fellow Riflemen very much to the fore. Those of us who really knew them well will relish the renewal of their relationship in the RHQ upstairs.
