I have just learned that Ellie passed away in 2003 from cancer,he was one of my medics when i was medical sgt with 3 RGJ.He was one of the nicest people one would wish to know,and a bloody good medic to boot.Also his wife Janet passed away in 2010, they met when ellie was at the depot,and Janet worked for the NAAFI,RIP my friend and your lovely wife,till we meet again at the final RV, GOD BLESS to you both.

Ellie joined me at the depot in 78-79. We had such fun,also with the family.Istill miss him

just heard the very sad news i knew him and janet  i used to babysit his two girls in celle first met him in med center in oakington bks what a nice man RIP old frend see you in the final R.V

thank you all for your kind words, im sure dad is having a drink with his old friends and waiting til he meets you all again

and john im not so little now, i remember you shaving your tash off for us to see what you looked like then crying when i didnt like it, you didnt look like you!!!! x

it was in worthy down you came to stay with us for a few days i think. i was about 10 and it was probably 1984. i kept on for ages that you eventually shaved it off but immediately grew it back!!! i remember you always made us laugh. best wishes x
