Dear Mrs Manley,

I've got some treasured photos of your dear son which I will give to you on Friday.  They are from his time in the Royal Green Jackets.

In the meantime I will send the photo that you requested to another of Jimmy's friends, Davver Askew, for publication on the site.

With fond regards,

Macker

Please get in touch if you require anything at all.

xx

As Requested I post this photo of Jimmy at the charity boxing night, held in Bulford at 4 Rifles Barracks.

A great night, enjoyed by a group of Chosen Men.

I hope this short video loads, apologies if it does not:

Mrs Manley, please see this group of The Chosen Men ... The picture couldn't be taken until Jimmy had inspected us all, and deemed us smart enough ... in this group is probably a total of 360 years + of service to Her Majesty.

Mrs Joan Manley (Jim's Mum) Maud, Teresa, Joan-Marie and John (his sisters and brother) Would like to say a heartfelt "Thank You" for all your kind messages of condolence and the tremendous love and respect shown for Jim by so many of the Chosen Men at his funeral on Friday 7th  June.  It was a wonderful testament to the special person Jim was.

We now try to move forward as Jim would have demanded: A smile on the face, a spring in the step, chest out, chin up and head held high.

May God bless you all and keep you in his care.
