RIP Brian       You certainly was one of the best and a great character

One of the stalwarths of B Coy HQ Pln where you taught a lot of us

on the APC Cadre of that great era of Celle 68/70

No doubt you will meet up with Ken and I am sure you both will recall that last Ex of Celle where upon

C/S 2 got bogged down in that horrible snow on Soltau

My condolences to your Family (RIP) Brian

Sorry to hear of the death of Brian, so many have said so much about him it is difficult to come up with anything to say, however as we were next door neighbours in Great Wakering I have a little gem. As most of you will know Brian was an avid fisherman and on many occasions I would hear through the walls Brians wife shouting from the top of her voice " Brian get these F-------  maggots out of my fridge". What a man who else would even attempt to do that.

Condolences to the family

I was the lucky lad that drove brian on ex eternal triangle and can still feel the lumps on my head from that no.7 mike. Stopping at a place called cloppenburg for time out during the exercise a few beers prevailed followed by brian trying to smash the **** out of our poor old APC with a sledge hammer, how will i forget him.Rest now old chap, condolences to your family.

I first came across Brian in Cyprus 6 platoon B company, it transpired that we only lived a few miles away from each other.  He was a great character larger-than-life, we had a few adventures together!!

I hadn't seen Brian much in the last few years, my fault not his as he was in a bad way with one thing and another.

God bless you mate no doubt will meet up in a bar somewhere.
