I am saddened to hear of the passing of Joe Newton. Joe was my first CSM in Tidworth when I first joined 1RGJ in 1969.
As nigs we all used to take the micky out of Joe at the way he used to tilt his head to one side and shout his commands.
He caught me once and his bollocking burnt the hairs from up my nose.


Condolences to all of Joe's family and may he enjoy enternal rest.
