It is with regret that I write to inform you that Colonel John Baker died earlier this morning. He would have been 85 in May.

Letters of condolence to : Mrs Daphne Baker, Sutton Manor, Sutton Scotney, Winchester, Hants SO21 3JX.

The  funeral of Col John Baker will be at 2.15 pm on Wednesday 8 April at Basingstoke Crematorium RG25 2BA followed by tea at Sutton Manor, Sutton Scotney, Winchester, Hants SO21 3JX.

What a shoch!
Another good Rifleman moves to his last posting. I have known the Colonel for many years, he was a patient and passionate man also a very good shot.  our condolances to his family.
