With a heavy heart I have to inform you that our Brother Rifleman Billy Fogg has died.
His sister Joan called me today to tell me.
He died at 0800hrs on Tuesday 14. July in hospital in Liverpool. He had been in ill health for some time but had been coping, befitting a Rifleman. An aneurysm in his stomach finally took him.  His ill heath not allowing him to continue his brave fight.

I shall inform you all of the funeral arrangements ASAP.

Jimmy,
Although I haven,t been in touch with Billy since I left in '72 it is still sad to see fellow Riflemen departing.  I spent time with Billoy in the Anti Tank Platoon, he was a Cpl at the time, and I used to drive the Ferret (the one without the turret).  I still have some photos of him when we were in Libya in '69.  He was a good influence on me and I will remember him fondly.  RIP Billy.

Jimmy,
Many thanks for posting the sad news regarding Billy,  unfortunately it seems that we are all getting to that age where names from the past are going to start coming up.  Take care.
