Madge Dobison MBE who died on July 1st aged 95 was born in India where her father was the Bandmaster of the 4th Battalion the King's Royal Rifle Corps. Madge was a staunch supporter of all things Greenjacket and latterly The Rifles. Only last year she wrote a book "Following The Drum" in which she tells of her time as a young girl growing up in India. Madge worked for the British Red Cross for 67 years as a caseworker and fund raiser. Her funeral will be held at Hanworth Crematorium, Hounslow Road, Hanworth, TW13 5JH, Tel 020 8894 9001 on Thursday July 30th at 14-40hrs. You will be most welcome if you are able to attend and after the Service refreshments will be served at the Master Robert Hotel, 366 Great West Road.
