Hello to everyone who knew or served with Lance Corpral John Robert Gilmore of the Royal Green Jackets.

It is with regret that i have to send this e-mail to announce my uncle's sudden but peaceful death on the morning of Thursday 6th August 2009.

John served his country for over 25 years. He was involved in the Falklands conflict and was a lucky survivor of the HMS Sir Galahad Disaster. After he recovered from his injuries in hospital, he served his remaining years based in Maidstone, Kent as a dog handler.

If anybody who wishes to get more information about Funeral arrangements ect, then please don't hesitate to contact me via the e-mail address provided.

Thank you for spending some time reading this,
