It is with deep regret that I have to inform any old comrades of Jim from 2nd R G Jks
that he died last thursday 10th Feb 2011 aged 63. He was very proud to serve in the KRRC and I know that he loved soldiering. He was in Borneo, Germany and Northern Ireland. His funeral is 25th Feb and if any one remembers him and wants to attend please phone Redditch Crematorium ( Abbey Stadium) for details. (Worcestershire) I'm sure he would want to say hello to Alan Jenkins, Brian Buck, Pat Veasey, Bill Reddy and Geoff Bye if he were still here.

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing away. I had some great times with JJBurke, both in 2 RGJ and when he owned the Fish & Anchor in Offenham. We also worked together when he moved to Norwich. He will be sadly missed and my thoughts are with his family.
