Capt TM (Terry) Lovick late the 52^nd

Col John Tillett has advises us that Capt Terry LOVICK, late of the 52^nd, has died aged 89 on 10 Sept 2011. The funeral has taken place.

Col Tillett recalls Terry Lovick as an outstanding Mortar Pl Sjt of the 52^nd who fought all the way from the beaches of Normandy, through the Ardennes and subsequently into Germany.

Due to losses he frequently commanded the Mor Pl himself and Col Tillett recalls that at times Terry Lovick commanded a whole battery of mortars.

Terry Lovick was subsequently commissioned when the 52^nd was serving in Palestine after NW Europe.
