Death of Patrick Robert DOYNE Late Rifle Bde

Patrick Robert, died peacefully on 1st February 2012, after a short illness. Much loved and devoted husband to Sall, loving father to Lucy and Tim. He will always be remembered by family and friends for his gentleness, joie de vivre and love of a good tune. The Funeral will take place at St Edmund's Church, Shipston-on-Stour, at 12pm on Friday, 10th February. No flowers please. Donations if desired to the Rifles 'Care for Casualties' Appeal c/o R. Locke and Son F/D, Upper Brailes, Oxon OX15 5AZ.

So sad to read about the passing of Patrick. He was my 1st Pln commander in Wuppertal BAOR He was very well liked. My condolences to his family. Jim

Very sad, he was the Adjutant at Eton when I was there in the CCF I'll make sure the news is passed to the right people. Jamie.
