We have been notified of the death of GDB (Geoffrey) Hopkins, twin brother of DSB (David) Hopkins on 2 April 2012.

GDBH was born on 24 Nov 1944 and died aged 87.

GDBH served in the KRRC from 1943-47.

Both twins served in 2 KRRC, landing with the Battalion in Normandy in June 1944.

After leaving the Regular Army GDBH served with the QVR (TA) and was a member of the Mess at Davies Street until he died.

GDBH was a Life Member of the C et A Club.

His funeral will take place at St Marys Church, The Boltons, London, at 11 am on Thursday 19 April (according to DSBH).
