So sad to hear this news.

Tommy ws a great bloke - and Sue and I were great friends of Tommy and Violet.

We have tried to contact tommy for a while.

We were all good mates in the Mortar platoon and I have some very fond memories.

Its also fitting to read the comments from Dave Fairhurst - thank you Dave.

Sue and I send our Love and best wishes to Tommy's Family.

We were Good mates back in the 70's - My Wife Sue and i often talk about Tommy and Violet.

All of us in the Mortar Platoon were good mates and we won't forget Tommy.

Tom Nixon was a Cpl in Mortar Pl who I got to know through Bert Henshaw. Tom was a real nice good NCO who stood up for his guys and was respected for all the right reasons by all ranks. He is a great loss to the Regiment and a bigger loss to his family but a great reward to the guys already in the FRV. God Bless Tom and sincere condolences to his family.

Lena Myself our Children Christopher & Amanda are so saddened by the death of Tommy because he was like a second Father to them and he was a good friend to us along with Violet would like to get thier home address because have been trying to find them for a lot of years.
