Such very sad news especially Al being a young man. Whenever we met he was always great to chat to, such a nice guy and I will miss his joviality at Warminster Branch and dinner Nights on the occassions I attend.
God Bless Al, you can chat with all the lads in the FRV now, no doubt with both eyes looking down on your beloved wife Leslie and family. My sincerest condolences to all his family and close freinds, especially Phil & Val.
Shocked and very sad to hear this - Alan and Leslie were friends from our time in Dover with the 2nd Bn. we may only have kept in touch at Christmas time, but our prayers and thoughts are with Leslie and boys. Another great guy taken early.
