Jeff Duncans`s funeral will take place on Friday 2 November 2012 at 1100 hours. The location will be St Mary`s Church. The full postal address is  The Church of St Mary the Virgin, 1 Mill Ln, Adderbury, Oxfordshire OX17 3. Detailed directions are below

The family request no flowers but donations are welcome and should be made through Jeff`s brother, John, to a charity of the family`s choice.

From Banbury on the A4260, turn right into the village at the junction signposted West Adderbury. The road forks just beyond Taste Buds and The Bell Inn, take the left fork and the entrance to the Church can be found approximately 50 metres on the right hand side.

Jeff Duncan was a smashing lad.  We caught up with each other at Winchester this year.  I hadn't seen him for years.

He was still the most inoffensive lad he ever was.  Jeff was somebody who was always 'under the radar'.  Unsung but still a

vital part of the regiment.  He trained like a Spartan when he was in te boxing team.  What he lacked in skill he more than

made up for with heart. Nothing was ever too much for him and he was generous to a fault.  I shall remeber him with great

fondness.

My sincere condolences to his family.

Jimmy Matthews.

This is a great shock to me, Jeff was a mucker and worked tirelessly collecting for those less fortunate, and always with the Regiment in mind. RIP Jeff and condollences  to all his family, i'm sorry we never met up at The Royal Albert Hall last week.

Time to hang-up the sticks.
