Phil
very sad to hear of this, Chris was in 3 Pl. A Coy when I joined in Catterick and we both served alongside him in the old I Coy of Gib. days, a thoroughly decent guy. Please convey my deepest sympathies to his wife and family.
Geoff...so sorry to hear this really sad news. Chris was such a nice guy with always a friendly smile and a joke. I know he will be missed not only by his own close family but by all of us who knew him in the Regiment. 'See you for a pint at the FRV Chris'....

It is with much sadness that I must inform you of the death of my brother in law Chris Berry.
Chris had been fighting cancer for the last 12 months and passed away early this morning, Monday 25th February 2013
Chris served with 2 RGJ from 1974 to 1986 with the Anti Tank platoon and later in the QMs Department.
Sleep Well old Friend
funeral details to follow.
I remember Chris from the Anti Tanks in Gib and Tidworth. A really nice guy always put a positive slant on any situation, but oh those really corny jokes!!
Very sorry to hear of your very sad loss, like all have stated so far what a real genuine nice guy Chris was and still is; always positive and a brilliant dry sense of humour.
God Bless Chris, see you in the FRV, sincere condolences to all the family.
