A Normandy newspaper of 5 December 2005 reported the death on 3 December 2005 of Wally Parr. As you may be aware, Wally was a member of the 2nd Bn Ox & Bucks LI Coup de Main party who, under Major John Howard's command, captured Pegasus Bridge on 6th June 1944.
 
Wally lived in France, but appears to have returned to the UK prior to his death.
