I regret to inform you that my father, Kenneth George Russell, born on 27th April 1920 served in the London Rifle Brigade between 1939 and 1945 and subsequently spent many years as a warrant officer in the T A in London with the Greenjackets.  He died yesterday (13th January) and was keen not to have flowers at his funeral. 

Dad will be cremated at Kettering Crematorium on Tuesday 24th January, 2006 at 12 Noon.  There will be a short secular service attended by family members.  There will be no flowers and donations in lieu will be sent to The Rifleman's Aid Society.
