We were also were saddened to hear of the death of  6845677 John Gillman MM who served with 1KRRC from 1936 to 1946 and was badly wounded at El-Alamein. His funeral will be held on Thursday December 5th at 13.15hrs at Chiltern Crematorium, Whielden Lane, Amersham, Bucks HP6 OND.  If you are able to attend you will be warmly welcomed by members of the King's Royal Rifle Corps Assn who will provide a Guard of Honour".
