Thank you Richard for the post. My father joined the KRRC in Feb 1932, following his beloved brother Frank into the Regiment. He served in Burma and was a proud bugler. He left in Feb 1939 but was re-inlisted into the Royal Army Service Corps at the outbreak of the war. He reached the rank of sergeant before de mob in 1945. All will be welcome at his service as the army, especially the KRRCs was his life and love.
My father, Cyril Forster, was a proud Bugler. In all our years together as a family, he pretty much talked about how proud he was of his KRRC days. I am very proud of my dad, and I just want to say thank you for the KRRC for coming to his funeral and bringing with you a bugler, whom I must say did a wonderful job and in Dad's name played The Last Post in his memory. Dad, I love you, and you are always in my mind and my thoughts, daily. I miss your lovely face and your happiness so much, even though I know you are now in a better place, I miss 'you'! Your loving daughter, Chrissy xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
