The wake will be held at "The Eagle Vaults" which is the pub where Steve worked in Witney. It has it's own website with map links here:

Sorry to hear of this tragedy. Steve was in the Milan Platoon while I was the platoon c/sgt.He was a man full of life and a good professional soldier.My condolences to his wife and family.

Sad news and so close to where I used to live. I am sure many of the people replying knew my ex-husband - Jock (George) Hodgson who died March 2000. My deepest sympathy to all the family.

I have only just heard of this and am deeply shocked and saddened.
 I served with Steve in the MILAN pltn, he was a real character and good natured bloke.
My condolences to th e family he leaves behind.
