Can I say what a pleasure and honour it was to meet all of you at Bens Funeral
and what a fantastic send off you gave him. I couldn't have wished for a better send off or a better bunch of lads to honour him, you did him proud.
It was a privilege to meet you all.
Special thanks to Bens OC Major McDada of B Coy for a lovely eulogy & obviously being a fantastic boss.
Many thanks to Sgt Andy Clarke(you passed with flying colours)and Major Gary Hahn for their care and support throughout nothing was too much trouble and
ensured everything ran like clockwork.
Thank you to the four of you who took the time and trouble to come over from blighty, you know who you are!
Finally many thanks to Capt Bill Holland who gave us so much of his time to support us and kept us informed along the way a true gentleman and exceptional person.
My apologies to anybody I have forgotten.
Finally good luck to you all on your tour of Iraq we'll be thinking of you, no heroics please. Julie Warren.(Bens mum).
We just wanted to echo what our sister Julie (Ben's mum) said previously. It's been said that the army is like one big family and you certainly proved that to us by your unfailing support over the last few weeks since Ben's death. We are very proud of Ben, of who he was and what he achieved in his all too short life. It goes without saying that we will always miss him. We hope that those of you who knew him best will take away with you some fond and happy memories of your time together and keep them with you always. May you now rest in peace Ben till we meet again. With all our love, Pauline and Debbie (Ben's aunties).
