It was an honour and a privalige to have served in the same Regiment as such a man as you Garth. You were, and always will be, an absolute legend. The world is less of a place with out the likes of you. RIP Garth and sincere condolences to your family, friends and the remaining members of the Regiment.
I am truely saddened by the loss of Garth , he was truely one of the 3rds Characters . Allthough we all move in different circles the knowing that garth is no longer among us will leave gap. RIP mucker
I remember Garth well, he used to come over to "A" Coy in Celle quite often, as his brother was also in 3 RGJ. I remember him as a soft spoken man with a quick wit and a wry smile. I met Garth many years later in south London, he had not changed and I reconized him instantly, he was once again just as amiable as he was in Celle.
