We regret to announce the death of Dave Furness who died of a heart attack in October. Dave lived alone but police have now located NOK.

David collapsed in the street about three weeks ago. His funeral is at the East London Crematoriam on Thursday 19 November at 1430hrs.

He joined the Inf Jnr Ldrs on 12 Jun 1961 at Oswestery and from there joined the Junior Coy at Bushfield Camp in Dec 1962.

In Aug/Sep joining 3GJ,RB in Cyprus and served with them in Borneo. He left the army in Nov 1966.

He joined the RB Assn in 2000 and attended all events, for those who may not be able to recall him-he had a large bushy white beard
