Frank mate what can I say, I am absolutely stunned by this tragic news. Jean was the last person that we spoke to on Saturday night before we came home and that will be our lasting memory of her. She was a really lovely Lady and we know she was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother. We will also have the image of you both jiving away and having a good time at Felixstowe, so please accept our very heartfelt condolences to you and your family.
As you know, I wasn't an army wife. Jean always kindly made an effort to make me feel welcome and involved.

RIP Jean

Fred & Lys

To all my fellow rifleman, friend, their wifes, partners and children,

Thank you all for the many kind messages and cards you sent to me. On behalf of my wife Jean, and all those that attended her funeral. I am sure Jean looked down and, like me, was proud and happy to see our old friends and fellow Green Jackets.
My warn regards to you all -

Frank Allen
