The funeral service is at 1430 on Friday 8 July at the Light Division Chapel, Sir John Moore Barracks, Winchester, followed by cremation at Basingstoke Crematorium. There will be a wake afterwards in the Bell, St Cross, Winchester. No flowers please, but donations to the Riflemen's Aid Society in his memory would be most welcome.

Ginger Mason was my training sgt when I joined up in NOv61. I was one of those recruits who made him throw his hat on the floor and cast his eyes to heaven.I last saw him in Penang I was in the 1st and the KRRC took over from us he recognised me straight away and we had a short conversion I now live in Florida and have a good life.but without knowing Ginger my life Im sure would have been a lot different. I had a lot of respect for him and he changed my life around.May God Bless Him.
