Sorry to hear sad news of Ian Passing. It is allways sad to hear fo the loss of one of our fellow riflrmen.

Hi Gerry and everyone interested. Ian's funeral is on Tuesday 2nd August aqt 1500hrs at the Rose Lawn Crematorium, Ballygowan Road, Belfast. No flowers, donations to Riflemens Aid Society. e mail now back on line this loc.

Sad news to learn of Ians passing,worked together as Pln Sgts in B coy Minden,Thoughts are with his family at this time, another "Character" lost.

very sad to hear of ians death i knew him in 2 rgj he was sigs at the time i was mortars also kew him in l,pool prior to him moving to n, ireland we had some good arguments light heartedly good bye mate, thoughts and condolences to his wife and family alan cole

Five years on, May 2010, searching google for my old friend. Stunned to hear that he has passed away. He recruited me in Liverpool into the army, and we became good friends, our paths crossing many times. So, soooo sad to hear this news....Bye my friend xx
