So shocked to hear the passing of Eddie who I knew, whilst working together some years ago. A great bloke, dry sense of humour, fearless and honorable. Rest in peace now my old pal, no more pain.
A great mate ,a true rifleman and a real loss.I've just heard I know our paths only crossed once or twice at reunions and the like .but our pasts were intertwined from juniors and on. I will really miss you Eddie god bless mucker I,m so glad I saw you at Tommies and winchester this year.My condolenses to the family
Rest in peace Eddie, was nice to speak to you in May at the reunion. You will be sadly missed, our thoughts are with Kelly and the Family. You will alway be remembered. Tom & Jan
In 1970 I was given the job of telling Eddie that his brother had died. This was very hard for me as well as Eddie but no where near as hard as learning that Eddie himself was dead.
With fond memories of a great bloke and Green Jacket
Dear Kelly and family of Eddie. I received the sad news yesterday having returned home, Maggie and I are devestated. Eddie was a great man, my biggest wish was that I would have loved to have seen him before his passing. Rest well Eddie.
