Death of Major John Hind, RB & 22 SAS

John Hind died at 6pm 23 February 2011 after a long illness.

The funeral will be on Wednesday 2nd of March, for family and personal friends only.

John Hind joined the RB in 1947 and was commissioned in 1965 serving as such with the SAS, 3RGJ and the Rifle Depot. His wife Joan predeceased him.

He leaves one son Jonathon.

So very sad to hear of John's passing  -  he was a very interesting man to talk to, who also had a very interesting and full career.   RIP John - sincere condolences to family.
