noBelatedly the sad news of the death of Kieran McDonnell.  27th August 2012.  Served in Northern Ireland, Berlin, Malaysia, in the 1970's. Sadly missed by all who knew him.

Hi,  sorry to say yes that is right.  I don't know if you remember me?  This is Annie, I was Kieran's wife at the time he was in Berlin!!! I hope you are well?  As I was no longer married to Kieran I am not 100% sure of all the facts except that he had a heart attack in the end.

He had been very unwell for some time and was having trouble caring for himself since his mum died a couple of years ago.

Very sad news though a he was only 62.

Hi Annie thanks for the reply.  So sorry to hear of Macpigs passing.  He was a good egg.  People often asked where he got to after he left because he didn't ever contact anybody from the Bn.  I'm sure that there are some more people who read this site who will remember you both.  Thanks for posting the sad news and condolences to all who were close to him.
