Thanks for all your kind words. Will post details in respect of funeral when confirmed. He always spoke so highly of the truly great family of friends he made during his time as a Green Jacket.
I was was stunned by the dreadful news of Steves passing, I've know Steve a very long time and we were great friends going back to the early 70s. A wonderful man that could combine being a true Green Jacket while being part of a very loving family. A gentleman to the end, Steve you will be missed by many my friend. its truly been a pleasure knowing you. My heart goes out to Steves family.
A very sad loss, for his family, friends and all of us who are able to say we had the pleasure of counting him as a friend. I had daily contact with Steve when he was Chief Clerk at RGJ HQ at Peninsula Bks and he was always helpful courteous and a mine of information. The team of Col Ian McCausland and Steve Kinrade (both now sadly gone) kept their fellow Riflemen very much to the fore. Those of us who really knew them well will relish the renewal of their relationship in the RHQ upstairs.
I was really saddened to learn of the death of Steve. He was a really good man and I respected him very much. My sincere condolences to his family, RIP Steve - you will be sadly missed.
My sincerest condolences to Steve's family. He truly was a good man. He pulled me from the mire on many an occasion in my wayward youth......and then again when I wasn't so youthfull!
