Rest easy Tom, it was a great pleasure having shared some of your time, laughed with you and quaffed some ale while in your great company.

So sorry to hear the news of Tommy's passing away, Tommy always supported the 3 R.G.J. Band and had a lot of friends within the Band. Condolences to the family and to Ian Shaw who served with the 3 R.G.J. Band and was a relation of Tommy's.....

Sad day indeed and shocked  to hear of Tom's passing. It was a pleasure to have known Tom quite well. Always ready with a humorous retort to whatever came up. A very loveable rogue and a true chosen man. RIP Tom. We will remember you with great fondness. My deepest sympathy and  sincere condolences to Jennie and Family on their sad loss.

What a great shock it was to read of Tommy's passing. I remember Tommy when he came from 3rgj to 1RGJ in Celle. His guiding hand to a newish L/Cpl was very much appreciated, can't say the same for his card playing skills. Always one with great wit and a song at company get togethers in our cellar bar. He will be greatley missed by us all and I'm sure a glass or two will be raised in Tom's memory at this year's Reunion.

The funeral arrangements for C/Sgt Tom Evans are as follows:- Date Thursday 4th July 2013 at 1330 hrs. Place The Seven Hills Crematorium Felixstowe Road Nacton Suffolk IP10 0DQ. Jenny has requested that those who wish to pay their respects with a floral tribute will be welcome to do so or if not would you please make a donation to Cancer Research in Tom's memory to Co-Op Funeral Services, 213 High Street, Felixstowe, Suffolk, IP11 9BQ. The details of the after service refreshments will be given on the day. The after service refreshments get together will be held in the Royal British Legion Club in Felixstowe. Evergreen Dick Hayes.
