So sad to hear of Geoff's passing. We go back a long way to pre Borneo days and I also remember that at some time he had a heart transplant. Condolences to his family, RIP old friend.
My Most Sincere Condolences to the Family..I met Geoff when I joined the BN in Cyprus in1962.. It was a Honour to have known Him during My Days in the Bn..Felixstowe etc .etc. Rest In Peace Chosen Man.
I regret to inform you that Colour Sergeant Geoff Morrish late of The Rifle Brigade and The Royal Green Jackets died in the afternoon of Monday 16 September.
His friends will recall that he had a heart transplant nearly 17 years ago.
He was recently admitted into Aintree University Hospital Liverpool, as a result of a post mortem this am it was ascertained that Geoff died from an acute blockage of the left ventricular.
The funeral will be on Friday 27 September at 14.40pm, at Southport Crematorium, Southport Road PR8 5JQ.
Family flowers only but donations if desired to The British Heart Foundation or Kidney Research UK. Cheques to be made out to the named recipient and sent to:

Saddened to hear of Geoff's passing. As others have already said a nicer bloke you could never meet. A true Rifleman through and through. My condolences to Geoff's family. RIP Geoff.
My condolences go to Pam and all his family. I only knew Geoff through my association activities but very quickly liked Geoff as a person. Always a gentleman and considered a good friend. His attendance at our dinners will be missed. Goodnight mate until we meet again.

devastated to hear of Geofs passing . he was without doubt the nicest man i have known. He was my friend and mentor . Our time in Borneo brought us even closer.
