Hello all for those of you who or didnt know Ian Ward ex sec commander B coy 2 RGJ passed away on the 14 07 06 after a long battle against cancer he was 59 years old I knew Ian from my time in B coy and after when he joined Hampshire Constabuarly I bumped into him after not seeing him for at least two years at a large incident we both attended in my capacity as a Fireman we went on together to play rugby and meet up and drink together for those who knew Ian they will never forget him for those who never met him then I feel sorry for you as you missed the chence to meet a proper gentleman Steve Moore ex 2 RGJ
I am very sad th hear that IAN has passed away, yes he was a gentleman and a very good mate to me in the 70s, he is with the best off gentleman now. so sad.

Agree with all you had to say about Ian a great guy who I was fortunate enought to play rugby with and call a friend.When I last saw him he told me of his son and how proud of him he was and that he was playing good standard rugby.His family and friends are in my thoughts at this very sad time.
Sorry for the late listing but Ian's funeral will take on the 26 July at 1400 hrs at Portchester crematorium and then after at Havant Rugby Club ,once again sorry for the late information to all that knew Ian Steve Moore
Much sadness at Ian's (oscar's) passing, he was a great mate. He was also a bloody good section commmander in C and B Coy's well liked and very well respected, he will be missed.
