Very sorry to hear this news.

Fitz, a big, strong man, with a bigger character. He was kind to his friends... one night/early morning at Tommies he asked how I was getting home. 'I'll grab a minicab' says I, 'no you wont' says he, 'I have my black cab outside, I'll take you home'.

After about a 50 minute drive, (more than likely in the wrong direction for his home) we arrived in Streatham. He wouldn't hear of any payment, even though I pressed him to take it.

I thought that was pretty special. Later I found out that he had done the same at other times for other Greenjobs.

Fitz, a very fine Rifleman, but a finer friend.

Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed.

Tess,

I have no idea if you will be welcome to attend. I was informed yesterday that his funeral is being paid for and organised by the Windsor Chapter of the Hells Angels that I am led to beleive he was a member of. My son Tony was a friend of his from 3RGJ and he is going so I don't see any problem with anyone else attending. If you were a friend of his go and pay your respects and take a chance.

Evergreen Dick Hayes.

Only just got back and heard the sad news about my friend Fritz.  Fritz, myself and Jimmy Manley had many a laugh together.

So sorry I didn't get a chance to say goodbye Fritz.

You were one of the chosen men Fritz and we loved you.

The world is a sadder place without you mate.

Jimmy Manley - sorry I missed your call I was out of the country.

RIP big man.

Awesome and thank you.

Many of us are broken that the dates got mixed up and we could not attend.

For the record.... he was known as 'Fritz' Anderson for all his time in 3RGJ. Not Fitz.

After he left us he spent some time with the Paras and then went on to be a stuntman..... then play a part as a gangster in 'Lock Stock and Two Smoking Hooves'.

He never forgot his pals and we never forgot him.

I haven't cried so much since Johnny Mann died.

Thanks for clearing that up Macker ... I thinking I was the only one calling him Fritz.

Thought that I had destroyed all my braincells, but no... I still have the one damaged one left!

Thank you Butch. On behalf of his entire family, I would like to thank everyone for their support and kind words, during these tough times. It is very comforting to hear of all the people whose lives he has touched, and all who have so much fondness and love for him.

Apologies for those who were given the incorrect funeral details, and therefore did not get to attend his funeral.

We believe he gave two (big) thumbs up for the send off he received.

A charity has been set up in his honour, for Help For Heroes, his favourite charity.

God Bless you all. Be Well

Tee

(Fritz'/Delton' little sister)
